The pursuit of sustainability is in our DNA. Takemoto started as a family business in the early 1950s in Tokyo, recycling glass bottles. Over the years we transitioned into plastics, adopting the latest technologies to manufacture high-quality containers. For over 70 years, we have continued to evolve to meet the needs of the times. We are still headquartered in Tokyo, but now we are a global company with over 900 employees, dedicated to bringing our customers innovation, quality, and sustainable solutions. The company has been listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange since 2014.

In Japan, we have built new manufacturing facilities and expanded existing factories to enhance supply capacity, further strengthening sales activities in international markets. At our showrooms in Japan, we have a wide range of our standard packaging on display, with samples showing various decoration options.
